If a newly-added employee is not able to clock as expected, check the following:
From Employee Details Biometrics tab, ensure the employee is ticked Active and that their Access Group is valid, and configured correctly. If the employees are being enrolled on readers please ensure their templates have been imported. On the same tab check Details near the bottom to see if there are any items in the queue for the employee. The coloured line can be clicked or right-clicked
Ensure that the Device Engine is running and processing all queued entries.
Then confirm if the employee is on the device with templates by going to Access>Devices.
Select the device and click View Employee.
If the employee has templates on the device, confirm the number the employee is enrolled on device with.
If none of the above has found any issue check the device’s own logs if possible to see what could be causing it to deny the employee.
