An automated export of clockings from HikCentral may be configured for integrating with Jarrison Time. HikCentral v2.2.1 is recommended for this, the installer file can be downloaded from Hikvision’s website.
HikCentral must be activated. Note that the T&A module is not required if exporting to Jarrison Time.
Then the devices to be included in the export file must be defined. Go to Resource management > Access Control Device, and click Add to add the required devices.
Then the device direction should be set correctly. This can be done from Resource Management > Area > Doors, and then selecting a device, and assigning it as in or out. In out type is empty by default.
Next, the export itself can be configured. This is done from Access Control > Basic Settings > Export, and then configure the frequency of the file being created; every 15 minutes, every hour, or every 24 hours.
After the set amount of time for an export has passed, a .csv file should be found at C:\HikCentral Export (if there were clockings on the selected devices in this time).
To configure Jarrison Time for importing, in Jarrison Time go to System Configuration > Import Clockings tab. The Location should be set to IMPORT FILE. The Path of the file from HikCentral should be entered using either the HikCentral default, or the location JT File Arranger has been configured with. All Files can be entered as the Filename, allowing any unimported file(s) within the Path folder (or sub-folders) to be imported. Imported file names are suffixed with the date and time of import.
Clocking files will start being imported by the JT Engine, or they can be manually imported by going to Import > Clockings, and clicking Import.
The Engine import interval can be set from the Engine tab, Collect transactions every setting.
