Leave adjustments can be exported from SAP systems to file, for import into Jarrison Time. However the format of the file needs to match Jarrison Time’s import requirements.
The file layout created by SAP will be a daily transaction listing that follows this format:
Column 1 – EmpNum
Column 2 – Date
Column 3 – LeaveType
Column 4 – LeaveType.Desc
Column 5 – Hours
Column 6 – Indicator
Column 7 – ChgDate
Details of the column fields:
Same as JT Employee number
Date format on file: yyyymmdd (e.g. 20241215)
This is the leave code in the SAP system
This is the adjustment description found in JT (e.g., Annual Leave, Sick Leave) that the leave type will be linked with
Total number of daily hours to reflect in JT
JT will always import “Custom time” and then link the hours accordingly
JT will not ignore non-working days (Thus, if it’s in the import file JT will add it)
This field will indicate if JT should add, remove, or modify the transaction
Indicator – 1 is only for add/insert any leave types
Indicator – 2 is only for remove/delete leave types
Indicator – 3 is only for changes/modifications on leave types and leave hours changes.
This is the date on which the transaction was added or modified in SAP (JT does not refer to or use this column at all)
In Jarrison Time, the import will be done from Import > Adjustments, and then select SAP as the File Format. Then Browse to the file location, and click Import.
